Software Developer
Responsibilities:
· Solution architecture for new web features and products
· Implementing beautiful interfaces based on collaboration with User Experience team using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript and demonstrated understanding of the full web technology stack (e.g. HTTP, cookies, asset loading / caching)
· Creating applications using a server side framework (e.g. NodeJS etc. ) or JavaScript web framework (e.g Ember, Backbone, Angular etc.)
· Developing responsive web applications that work well across multiple devices
· Developing A/B testing
· Lead feature technical implementation
· Writing front end code in HTML5 CSS3 and Java Script
· Integrating with back end code using java based frameworks and leveraging web services such as REST
· Integration of enterprise APIs to build a world class digital presence and a seamless back-end
· Integration of social tools, feeds, interfaces for an enterprise web presence
· Responsible for product measurement and health after deployment
· Research spikes to discover implementation options for features that require new patterns or technology
· Manage the balance of effort between technology evolution & maintenance and new feature delivery
· Collaborate with other teams to ensure shared best practices are maintained across teams
· Write and maintain automated tests, taking on manual testing as necessary
· Participate as a resident team member on an agile product delivery team
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline preferably computer science or software development.
Generally 3+ years of professional development experience
Hands on experience with CSS Frameworks, HTML, Javascript
Experience with one or more Web 2.0 Client Side Frameworks (e.g., jQuery, Angular, etc) used in a Single Page Application (SPA)
Experience with Browser Dev Tools (e.g.Chrome Developer Tools)
Experience with Testing frameworks (e.g., Sauce Labs, Selenium etc.)
Experience with working within a fully-dedicated Agile team
Experience in creating Responsive Web Apps
Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Delivery
Object Oriented design and development experience with Java / J2EE
Familiarity with Object Oriented Design Pattern
Familiarity with Java Application servers and open-sourced
