Engineer II, Software
The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Participate as a member of the development team(s) responsible for developing and supporting scientific, device control and laboratory automation applications.
Deliver software products/tasks with restrictive timelines.
Specify, develop, unit test, and implement new software programs as well as program changes for company’s software application systems and automated laboratory instruments.
Support development of end-user documentation and test scripts.
Deliver software products/tasks with restrictive timelines.
Troubleshoot software, hardware and/or assay related problems.
Prepare written records of daily activities, experiments, coding, etc. for design history file.
Maintain daily communications, prepare presentations as needed.
Creation of documentation, project timelines, maintain other artifacts needed to support our quality system
Two to five years of experience developing commercial software required.
Experience with following technologies:
C# with .Net 4.0
WPF, WCF
Visual Studios 2010 or later and Team Foundation Server 2010 or later
MS SQL, SSRS or Crystal reports,
Unit testing
Experience with at least once complete software development product life cycles from concept to development and product testing and final release required.
Experience with test driven development.
Experience building software systems for data management, designing and implementing high quality solutions is expected.
Strong organizational skills to work with cross-functional teams in defining project requirements is expected.
Strong written and verbal communications skills are essential.
