Software Engineer
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform critical design reviews of other software projects. Demonstrate and utilize software development best practices for successful completion of projects. Provide support for existing customers of fuel handling equipment. Plan, schedule, and perform work to meet assignment requirements within established scope, schedule, and budgetary requirements. Read and understand schematic diagrams, and apply pertinent information to the project software. Interface on a limited basis with customers, vendors and other internal functional groups on a professional level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments.
Job Requirements
The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, directly related technical degree or equivalent required.
Minimum 1 year of applicable experience required; two plus years preferred.
The ideal candidate should be familiar and/or have experience in the following areas:
PLC programming with GE Fanuc Proficy Logic Developer & View
Platforms: GE Fanuc 9030 and RX3i
HMI programming with Wonderware InTouch and GE Fanuc Proficy View
Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, etc) Drive configuration/programming: servo and variable frequency
Communications: Ethernet, DeviceNet Desirable experience:
HMI programming with Cimplicity
PLC programming with GE LogicMaster
Microsoft Visual Basic
Communications: Profibus.
