Senior / Lead PeopleSoft Developer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Designs, develops and tests production fixes and enhancements per specifications.
· Creates requested documentation supporting system design, code, and testing.
· Works closely with Business Analysts, Support Analysts, and end users to understand requirements in order to design technical solutions that are in line with business needs while staying consistent with the application architecture.
· Makes recommendations for approaches to development on new items or resolutions to issues.
· Accurately estimates the magnitude and time requirements to complete projects. Provides accurate and timely updates to project manager and/or team lead on progress.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· 7+ years of application development experience working with PeopleSoft Financials and/or HR applications, with good functional knowledge.
· 7+ years technical PeopleSoft experience with Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, SQL, SQR, PeopleTools, Crystal Reports, BI Publisher, CIs, PS/Query, Datamover, COBOL, and Integration Broker.
· Strong understanding of Record/Page/Component PeopleCode and the Component Processor.
· Proven interfacing experience with an in depth grasp of Application Engine, File Layouts and Component Interfaces.
· Working knowledge of Application Packages, Objects, Classes, Properties and Methods.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related discipline and 4-6 years experience with applicable tools, including database access; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
