Senior ERP Software Developer
Key Responsibilities:
Interface with users for problem analysis and resolution.
SDLC - analysis, design, development and testing / QA of user proposed tasks or projects utilizing IBM iSeries and Infor PRMS software.
Perform the PRMS month-end close for the various PRMS modules.
Monitor critical ERP tasks and systems during both business hours and off business hours.
Maintain or enhance Infor PRMS release 9.2 to meet specific company needs.
Complete programming and system design for internal company departments. To include recommendation of both hardware and software enhancements as company needs change.
Act as a liaison with users, ensuring that the company utilizes the department and its capabilities to their fullest.
Discuss and act upon departmental needs for programming requests.
Maintain contact with outside vendors and equipment design. Keep abreast of new technologies as well as current needs for both hardware and software.
Manage, train and motivate IS personnel to insure personal as well as department skill proficiencies.
Prepare and follow departmental budget concurrent with company goals and policies.
Attend relevant meetings and seminars as they apply to new or potential company developments and new technologies.
Required Qualifications:
B.S. degree or Associates Degree from an accredited institution.
5+ years of RPG programming experience.
Experience with programming and systems design within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrate problem solving skills and logic, as well as technical skills in IBM iSeries (AS400) systems, RPG, CL, PRMS, EDI, SQL, Microsoft Office Suite, Change Management, Sarbanes Oxley.
Excellent communication skills to interact with all levels of the company.
Prior manufacturing experience with an emphasis in shop floor, MRP, financial and costing.
