Senior Software Engineer - Java, Big Data, Analytics
Participate in all aspects of the software life-cycle, including: definition, design, implementation, testing and delivery.
Pro-actively collaborate with business and product management partners, and to design, build and optimize technical solutions for business success.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years of software development experience in product development organization.
High proficiency in software development, specifically in the Java.
Excellent knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
Proven track record of building highly performance, scalable distributed systems.
Previous big data experience using Hadoop, MapReduce.
RDBMS related product experience is strongly preferred (Oracle, Netezza, Teradata, Vertica, DB2, MySQL…)
Experience with Amazon Web Services and MPP databases a big plus.
Understanding of the Spring Framework and related projects.
Strong English written, verbal, and comprehension skills required.
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
Understanding of concurrent computing principles and programming in multi-threaded environments.
Previous experience designing large scale data warehouses.
