Mobile Software Engineer - API
Responsibilities:
You’ll be building the mobile API platform
Perform load testing to ensure that new designs can scale
Work with our QA and mobile engineers to design and write application test plans, test scripts, and use case scenarios.
Participate in design and code reviews
You will be working closely with our designers, engineers and product managers to design and build a compelling product and implement exciting features that use the latest new technologies in mobile.
Requirements:
3+ years of industry experience at a large-scale internet service with a demonstrated experience launching production-ready code.
Fluency in Python, Java, C++, or similar (Python strongly preferred)
Production experience with relational databases (we use MySQL)
Obsessive about quality, good design and elegant code
Experience building internal and external APIs and RESTful web services
Experience with distributed caching techniques
Strong foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design optimized for embedded systems.
