Java Architect
Building a highly available Always On architecture for our collaboration server
Being the primary technical owner of overall server architecture
Leading the design, implementation, and testing of features related to availability, scalability, and data integrity
Producing architectural documentation and leading engineering discussions
Driving innovation and exploration of new server technologies
10+ years of server-side software development experience
Strong background in Java web application development
Proven experience as a technical leader
BS in Computer Science or similar discipline; MS preferred
Detailed knowledge of J2EE backend infrastructure and N-tier architecture
Prior experience building highly available applications and infrastructure
Prior experience designing and implementing a data model for a large scale system
In depth knowledge of HTTP and other web protocols
Expertise in the following technologies is a plus
o Jetty
o MySQL
o NoSQL
o LDAP
o Mail/collaboration technologies (IMAP, MIME, POP, iCal, CALDAV, etc)
o ActiveSync
