Software Engineer II / Application Support
Seeking Software Engineers that will be driving forces in investigating multi-dimensional issues and strengthening our products through proactive performance monitoring of our production environment.
Successful candidates take personal pride in being able to understand complex systems and are energized in working with both technical and customer-facing staff to provide timely resolutions of production issues. They play a critical role in analyzing our code base and various data sources to provide root cause analysis and impact assessments to stakeholders in development, product management and customer support. Strong players are great communicators and help to drive operational efficiencies through strengthened interdepartmental relationships and improved system health monitoring.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience building web-based enterprise applications using J2EE or similar technologies;
* Hands-on experience with Oracle databases, SQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript;
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with experience in providing administration and user support for large scale business applications;
* Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills in interfacing across multiple parties of varying technical familiarity;
* Proficient knowledge in Linux and Windows operating systems administration;
* A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience
