Software Engineer – Visualization Developer
* 8+ years INDUSTRY experience using C++, Java, JavaScript
* 3+ years of hands-on experience in interactive graphics, data visualization, data mining and data analysis.
* 3-4 years RIA/ web development with HTML5/JavaScript/AJAX/canvas or other RIA tools like Flex.
* Expert-level knowledge of Java, HTML, preferable HTML5, DHTML, and JavaScript required
* Understanding of statistical methods and statistical data analysis
* Strong knowledge of SQL preferably in Oracle environment, including high degree of comfort with Database modeling, Database principles, and tools like Toad, ER, SQLPlus etc.
* Experience with Data Visualization tools/toolkits like Tableau, Vislt, ParaView, Protoviz, knockout, backbone, angular, highcharts, infovis, protovis, flot, js charts, etc.
* Proficiency developing User Interfaces leveraging MVC frameworks
* Prior Gaming Industry experience is plus
* Knowledge of user experience concepts is a strong plus
* Excellent verbal and written communications
* Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or Computational Statistics, MS is preferred
* Must be able to multitask efficiently and progressively and work comfortably in an ever-changing data environment.
* Must work well in a team environment as well as independently.
* Excellent verbal/written communication and problem solving skills; ability to communicate information to a variety of groups at different technical skill levels.
