Software Engineer
• Lead and mentor other engineers through development
• Design, develop, enhance and debug existing and new router services of JUNOS
• Work with Product Management, Product Marketing and other outside organization to understand and refine requirements
• Influence technical direction of ESBU
• Support customer deployments and escalations
• Analyze debug and fix software defects in network and application stacks
• BSCS, BSCE or equivalent; MSCS, MSCE preferred
• 12+ years C software development
• Experience with developing in a multithreaded and multicore environment
• Experience with networking protocols
• Experience in developing TCP/IP stacks, L2 and L4 Protocols
• Experience with developing software on embedded systems
• Experience with IPSec is plus
• Experience will full development cycle from concept and design through implementation and release
• Knowledge of source control management systems such as CVS and SVN
• Be a self sufficient proactive driver
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
