Senior Software Engineer
* Working with product management and others to understand and clarify requirements
* Creating functional specifications and design specifications
* Designing, coding and unit testing object-oriented software
* Maintaining and enhancing existing software
* Relational database design, development and analysis
* Working closely with other technical groups within the Technology and Services department
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field of study
* 7+ years of software/database development experience.
* 3+ years of object-oriented design and implementation skills.
* 2+ years of multi-threaded design and implementation skills.
* 2+ years of Oracle 8i, 9i or 10g experience.
* ODBC, JDBC, OCI, Hibernate, or ADO.NET experience
* Expertise with Java or C# (at least 2-3 years).
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Excellent team-working skills
* Deep technical understanding of systems, databases, networking, and computing environments.
* .Net experience
* XML, XSLT, DTDs, schemas, and related technologies.
* Experience with SQL query tuning
* Experience with other DBMSs like MS SQL Server or MySQL
