Principal Video Software Engineer
- Minimum Bachelors degree in engineering or computer science
- Minimum 5+years Software engineering experience
OR
- Master's Degree and 1 year of engineering experience
The Principal Video Software Engineer will develop and implement new methods and algorithms to improve video quality on broadcast and IPTV encoding and transcoding applications. You are also responsible for unit testing and timely delivery of video coding software as well as related systems software, participate in video quality assessment and work with the team on long term strategies, and understand and contribute to video systems software development.
Strong C/C++, data structures and programming, In dept understanding of MPEG-2, H.264 video compression .
Software Development Methodologies. Good experience in embedded systems.
