Software Engineer
To be successful in this position you must be a self-starter, be able to handle unexpected events, and take advantage of opportunities and events to achieve results that exceed expectations. This individual must be able to communicate with employees at all levels in the organization, and must have excellent problem solving, data analysis, and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with C programming
- Experience with Embedded Systems Software Development
- Experience with Networks and Network protocols
- Experience in capturing and implementing software requirements
- Familiarity with the software development life cycle processes
- UNIX Operating System experience
- Experience with requirements capture and updates using DOORS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly motivated, have a passion to win, be flexible and energetic
- Energized by solving difficult problems
- Interested in commercial aircraft and aircraft systems integration
- Demonstration of leadership qualities is preferred
Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering or science field, or, in the absence of a bachelor's degree, six years of related engineering experience.
