Software Engineer
Looking for talented engineers who are interested in working on hard problems. You don't have to have deep experience with our stack in particular, but you have to have deep experience in your domain. You should be a domain expert on whatever it is you're working on now, and motivated to become one in our space. You should have a deep understanding of data structures and algorithms and the capability to apply them to new problems. You should be hungry to work on new problems in a startup environment.
* Experience developing large scale HTTP-based applications
* Working with big data problems
* Scaling MySQL
* Writing lightweight and high-performance Javascript
* Proven success developing production software
* Deep experience in multiple programming languages and an interest in functional programming
* Experience with web applications
* Experience working with relational data (we use MySQL)
* A passion for correctness and quality
* Ability to work with a project from requirements through development, testing and delivery
