Staff Software Engineer
The duties and responsibilities will include the design and development of specifications, conceptual design, implementation, testing, and documentation of software for instrumentation products. The Staff Software Engineer will extend, through transfer, to support the operational/sustaining organization. He will also work within an engineering team as well as with cross functional engineers and other product development team members.
Education: Bachelor of Science or in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related
8 years of progressive experience in Software Engineering, Systems Design or related in biomedical/biotechnology/medical devices/similar.
Experience working in the area of biomedical, biotechnology, life science, medical device instrumentation or similar industries using robotics or automation is required. Experience using Object Oriented Design is required. Developing multi-threaded software applications using Visual C++, STL, Win32 APIs, MFC, COM/ActiveX and using C# and .NET framework is required. Experience with XML and mixed mode applications.
