Sr. Web Developer
* Develop and maintain client e-commerce web sites using a variety of programming/scripting languages and applications, including, but not limited to, JSP, JavaScript, XHTML, XSLT, CSS and jQuery
* Ensure that client e-commerce web sites adhere to defined coding, performance, accessibility and usability standards
* Collaborate with various teams to ensure quality, client e-commerce web sites are implemented and/or maintained effectively
* Plan and scope complex projects and functional implementations with clients and internal client managers to ensure final product meets or exceeds client expectations
* Make recommendations to client account managers and our clients regarding industry best practices as they pertain to e-commerce web site production
* Bachelor Degree in related field; Programming/Web Development
* 5years minimum as a Web Developer or 3 years of experience as a Sr. Web Developer or programmer
* Expert knowledge of XHTML, CSS, JavaScript (specifically native JavaScript and DOM experience), XML, XSLT, jQuery, AJAX
* Solid experience working with server side dynamic scripting or programming – specifically JSP, but also PHP, .NET or ColdFusion\
* Fundamental understanding of HTTP principles, including headers, cookies, GZIP compression, caching
* Experience with Responsive Design or developing solutions for multiple devices (mobile, tablets, etc.)
* Effective analytical and communications skills
* Ability and desire to learn and grow into new responsibilities
* E-commerce experience
