will take an active role in the design and development of embedded networking SW SDK for the company’s next generation telecommunication device.
The work will include developing a device driver for a network processor and embedded software for Broadcom switches.
The engineer will be involved in all stages of the project, including design, implementation and system bring-up.
The job involves leading and guiding other engineers as well as being in charge of feature development.
The group is a leading provider of innovative Systems-on-a-Chip solutions for microwave backhaul systems.
BSc in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering or more.
6-9 years’ experience in the telecom industry.
Embedded SW development experience is a must.
Strong knowledge of networking: Ethernet services, switching, routing, QoS, and IEEE 802.1 network standards.
Experience in leading development tasks for features involving few engineers.
Experience with Network Processors and microcode is an advantage.
Experience with Broadcom switches is an advantage.
A strong background in C.
