Software Development Manager
o Maintain an expert knowledge of software development languages, tools, and practices.
o Routinely evaluate tools that can assist in software development and make recommendations to management.
o Lead the problem solving process when technical issues arise
* Project Management
o Responsible for leading the implementation the Agile software development methodologies across all teams
o Participates in daily standup meetings, tri-weekly planning meeting and other team discussions related to requirements, design, security and quality.
o Coordinates multi-team projects by leading estimation, planning and execution
o Works closely with Operations and Product Management to define project scope and detailed requirements
o Provides organizational visibility to key development metrics
* Operations
o Responsible for coordination of production deployments
o Ensures proper quality control procedures
o Oversees efforts to coordinate technical documentation
o Coordinates on-call responsibilities across all teams
o Coordinates build process, source control and deployment responsibilities.
* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline required.
* 5+ years of related experience required.
* Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills required.
* Experience programming with .NET and C# required.
* Experience with C++, Adobe Air and Flex is a plus
* Strong OO development experience and working knowledge of MSSQL and/or Oracle.
* Experience in an agile development environment is required
