Client Computing Technician
* Responsible for providing tier 1-2 computer and application support to district personnel
* Support services will be provided via direct user contact, telephone, and ticketing system
* Responsible for entering, updating and closing out tickets
* Assist with site build out to include installing low voltage cabling, equipment setup, network configuration and testing
* Install and track licensed software on users computers
* Receive, prep and issue computers
* Create and maintain procedure documentation
* Decommission, retire and recycle computers
* Assist with gathering field project requirements
* Participate in project pre-jobs, project planning and post job critiques
* Provide onsite support as needed for ongoing field projects
* Setup and configure training rooms and off site management meetings AV/connectivity requirements.
* Scheduling and prioritizing work to accommodate user needs with minimum impact
* Identifying potential areas where policies & procedures require change or where new ones need to be developed
* Minimum two years¿ experience in a related information management support
* Able to effectively communicate and provide timely, effective support to user community
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
* Able to prioritize tasks and projects
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
* Experience with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, networking technologies
* Occasional off-hours or weekend work required for upgrades, conversation, etc.
* Frequent travel required for short periods of time
Education:
Associates Degree in Information Management or equivalent combination of education and experience. Relevant engineering and/or construction industry experience is preferred
