Associate Computer Programmer/Analyst
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and three years of professional experience in computer programming and systems analysis, IT security, or a closely related area, OR seven years of such experience.
Three years of recent experience (within the last 4 years) working in the computer security field, with HIPAA security knowledge. At least one year experience in working with people in a training and liaison/consulting capacity. Demonstrated excellent writing/documentation skills. Experience in: Unix, Perl, CGI, Java and C programming, Network Intrusion Detection, Incident Response, Lotus Notes, Wireless communications, Application Vulnerability Scanning, & Network Vulnerability Scanning.
Qualified candidates will provide consulting and training with regards to IT security. The incumbent will enhance and monitor an incident response system and perform duties in the areas of incident response, network security . The incumbent will perform various security related tasks such as, monitoring, reporting and performing vulnerability/risk assessments including application and network security scanning.
