Junior Java Developer
The Junior Java Developer will support the development and enhancements on multiple projects using open source technologies. This position works within an integrated team environment to design and develop cutting edge web-based solutions for federal government customers. The developer will be working with various development tools, including Java, database, AJAX and Web.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree
* 1 - 3 years of experience in web development, HTML, JavaScript and AJAX
* 1 - 3 years of experience writing application software, using Java programming language, J2EE, XML/XSL and SOAP
* Experience in Linux/Unix
Preferred Qualifications:
* Relevant exposure to one of the following Java application servers: JBoss, Tomcat and Websphere
* Experience with REST, Web services, ESB and JBoss Seam
* Experience with JPA or Hibernate
* Exposure to Jersey (JAX-RS)
* Knowledge of IBM Rational ClearCase, ClearQuest and RQM (Rational Quality Management)
* Exposure to Dojo Toolkit, Google Web Toolkit, Alfresco and YUI Library
* Ability to interact directly with clients and working independently to complete tasks
* Superior written and verbal skills
* Excellent analytical skills
