automation software engineer
MS in automation or software engineering with 10-12 years of experience in development of standard control platforms used in biopharmaceutical environment from laboratory through pilot plant and manufacturing scale.
Demonstrate technical mastery in engineering, integration, deployment and maintenance of complex control platforms including DCS & Scada package, PLC, distributed data acquisition, object-oriented or structured programming and Web based visualization & reporting. In depth understanding of existing regulatory (e.g. 21CFR P11), development guidelines (e.g., GAMP5) and computer validation practices.
Skilled in electrical design and engineering. Strong working knowledge of sensors, actuators, valves, motors, indicators and the associated I/O. Knowledge of relevant national and international electrical compliance standards (CE, UL, CSA, etc..).
Good understanding of instrument calibration standards and working principles (ie: electrical, physio-chemical theories) associated with sensors typically used in bio-process (pH, UV, conductivity, pressure, temperature, level detection, etc..).
Ability to manage supplier network or outsourced projects.
Skilled in project management.
Very good organizational, communication, and presentation skills
Proven ability to attract, develop and motivate highly skilled individuals in a positive working environment.
Able to work in an international environment with a high level of written and spoken English
Strong leadership and results oriented personality yet works well in multidiscipline, global teams with the proven ability to manage multiple projects assigned.
