Sr. Software Engineer
In this job, the software engineer will analyze requirements, implement designs, program application interfaces and produce user-centric products. Design and development of software will be based on documented customer requirements. Support to integration testing and system acceptance testing is also part of the software engineer’s job assignment. The selected candidate for this job will interface with end user to add/test/deliver new or custom features to software applications.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field and 8+ years of relevant work experience.
•At least 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in Java Programming or Oracle Application Express rapid development.
•Experience with Java Script with Open Layers for Geospatial access.
•Experience with JDBC and development on UNIX/Linux and Windows systems.
•Knowledge of analytical tools and skills with a focus on dynamic display with map interaction.
•Experience designing, planning, deploying, and troubleshooting issues in highly-scalable, highly-redundant environments.
•Demonstrated work experience with XML, Web Services, JDBC, Hibernate, Oracle, GWT, Spring, CSS, and Swing.
•Must have technical background in software development and prior Systems Integration experience on a medium to large federal project.
