IT Security Analyst II
* Assist with patch deployment to workstations using Windows Server Update Services and third-party patching tools. Work with administrators to coordinate manual patch installation in server environments. Regularly scan workstations and servers for patch installation status.
* Proactively research vulnerabilities and emerging threats to computers, networks, and information. Determine scope and impact of threats and vulnerabilities within the enterprise environment. Suggest risk reduction measures for specific vulnerabilities and ensure such measures are implemented.
* Maintain, support and implement security technologies including RSA enVision SIEM, web filters, file integrity monitoring applications, and anti-virus applications.
* Manage CheckPoint firewall rule sets as required. Analyze business requirements for requested firewall/network changes and recommend secure or alternative solutions as appropriate. Regularly review firewall and router logs for intrusion attempts or anomalies.
* Performs product evaluation, testing, and planning for new security architecture designs and product implementations.
* Other duties as assigned
* Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
* 3-5 years of relevant experience required; or comparable education
* CCSA, MCSE, CISSP, Security+: Preferred
* Experience with PKI, SSL, and digital certificates
* Understanding of firewalls, IPS/IDS, and proxy architecture
* Experience with system logging methods and infrastructure
* Familiarity with IT Security standards and regulations (PCI, SOX, etc.)
* Ability to clearly communicate technical security concepts to a broad audi
