SharePoint Software Engineer
The Software Engineer, SharePoint administers and supports critical enterprise applications, primarily enterprise content management products including document management, portals and collaboration tools.
Planning & Re-engineering – Assists in building business cases and work plans by designing and selecting medium-to-high complexity solutions, assessing risks, analyzing impact, and providing estimates for work as required. Reviews User Requirements. Prepares and reviews Functional Requirements.
Design & Development – Builds, reviews, and approves prototypes based on draft requirements. Prepares, reviews, and approves software code and/or configuration Design Specifications based on documented functional and user requirements. Develops high complexity software code and/or configuration changes. Prepares Unit Test Results to demonstrate completeness of design and development. Reviews and approves code and/or configuration changes and Unit Test Results.
Testing – Prepares, reviews, and approves automated and manual test scripts (test data setup and test execution) to be used for execution of Operational Qualification and Performance Qualification and for purposes of regression testing. Prepares and reviews Validation Strategies and Validations Summaries. Prepares and reviews Installation Qualifications. Prepares and reviews Operational Qualifications.
Scope of Responsibility - Guides the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role. Erroneous decisions or recommendations would typically result in failure to achieve major organizational objectives.
