SOFTWARE PROGRAM MANAGER
RESPONSIBILIITIES:
- Be responsible for internally agreed schedules and communicate regularly with different teams about the time lines.
- Oversee the implementation of the project on a daily basis (may include multiple projects) with regard to time, budget and quality.
- Use project schedule and work breakdown structure produced from the methodology tool to guide team in the implementation of the project.
- Provide continuous feedback to Project Team on status of project.
MINIMUMREQUIRED SKILLS:
- In depth knowledge of software engineering principles.
- Understanding of process to get mobile products to production preferred.
- Hands on experience with Android/Linux SW development a huge plus.
- Source control, project and defect tracking experience is a must.
- Hands on experience with GIT or other code version control systems.
- Understanding of various release management and project tracking metrics.
- Experience with productivity tools and process automation in support of this role is a big plus.
- Knowledge of operating systems, power management is necessary.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- BE in EE or CS required.
- 5 years in similar or related role.
- Understanding of the mobile design productization process.
- Understanding of various release management and project tracking metrics.
- Experience with productivity tools and process automation in support of this role a big plus.
- Knowledge of operating systems, power management are a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill.
- Ability to acquire new technical skills quickly and contribute to wide range of projects.
- A self-starter highly motivated and able to work productively with minimal guidance.
- Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
- Detail oriented and proven ability to multitask in a fast moving environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements.
- Able to think strategically and tactically and to build consensus to make programs successful.
- Demonstrate ability to think outside the box to resolve technical issues and resource conflicts in projects spanning across multiple and cross matrix organizations.
