Software Engineer
This position will lead software development for a new device from concept feasibility through product launch.
Convert marketing and system requirements to software requirements specifications, design the software architecture, write the code, test and verify the code (including designing validation protocols and generating the reports) and supporting the product integration.
Computer or biomedical engineering experience is required; a minimum of four years for Senior Engineer; a minimum of six years experience required for the Staff Engineer; and a minimum of eight years experience required for the Principal Engineer. Relevant experience includes exposure to design of experiments, control system design, specification development, new product development and prototyping. Proven Software Design Experience in leading new product development with successful design from concept to commercialization is required. Proven Software Design Experience in programming in Windows XP embedded environment, using .net tools is required. Strong preference for experience in the medical device or other highly regulated industry with emphasis on Medical instrumentation/monitors OR medical infusion pumps.
A Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline is required. A degree in computer or biomedical engineering is strongly preferred. An advanced degree may offset some required experience.
