Sr. Web Application Developer

Responsibilities:

· Create visual/graphic assets from designs

· Create dynamic prototypes based on design documents

· Advise the user experience design team of development impact of design options

· Implement and integrate design layouts in development environment

· Implement layouts in dynamic front-end language

· Debug and optimize front-end code and layout

· Assist in creating design visual mocks, participate in the User Experience Design process

Skills:

Requirements:

· 5+ years of hand-on web development experience for large-scale web sites/applications

· BS/MS in Computer Science or related field

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and industry standards

· Working knowledge of JavaScript framework such as Prototype.js, jQuery, et al

· Hands-on experience implementing AJAX-enabled features and JSON

· Experience consuming web services using implementation libraries such as Apache Axis 2.0

· Familiarity with an ORM framework such as Hibernate

· Experience using Application servers like Apache Tomcat, Jboss, Weblogic or Websphere

· Strong ability to work and converse intelligently with User Interface Designers, Product Managers, Application Architects and Engineers
