IT Lead

Functional Responsibilities

Strategic

1. Develop and maintain an intimate understanding of business strategies

2. Develop long-range technology strategies in collaboration with the business to support defined business strategies

3. Collaboratively define IT automation strategies for new business initiatives

4. Work collaboratively with IT and business to provide initial project estimates for cost-benefit analysis

5. Participate in project prioritization process as required

6. Participate on the IT Demand Management Committee to facilitate the interests of the business as well as represent the perspective of IT

7. Maintain relationships with external solution providers in the assigned functional domain in order to stay abreast of industry trends in business and technology

8. Identify opportunities for operational efficiency through automation

9. Direct projects toward targeted business automation strategies

Operational / Tactical

1. Provide a Single Point of Contact for all business unit IT requests and issue escalations

2. Oversee pre-project business solution design and delivery

3. Collaboratively define IT project objectives

4. Program / Project Oversight and Portfolio Management

5. Maintain a tight relationship with IT Solution Delivery Teams consisting of CSV, ERP, Enterprise Architecture and Infrastructure teams

6. Ensure project issue resolution

7. Work with the business to understand staffing requirements, timelines, and cost for projects. Throughout a project, the Lead remains abreast of project status and issues in order to provide the business with regular updates. As required during a project, the Lead will facilitate when an impasse between the IT and business teams occur
