System Engineer

Description of Duties and Responsibilities:

· Analyze and determine root cause of reported issue · Provide clear communication to customer throughout the problem resolution process · Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as servers and peripherals · 3+ years actual work experience in this discipline

Basic Minimum Qualifications (Candidates must have): · BS Degree in Information Technology or equivalent · Strong analytical skills – ability to analyze and determine root cause of reported issue · Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows Server / Client technologies · Technical knowledge of current network hardware, protocols, and standards, including TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, WINS · Exceptional Customer Service Skills · Exceptional verbal and written communication skills · Ability to perform multiple tasks, and adjust priorities based on workload with minimum supervision

Preferred (but not required) qualifications: · Prior computer Hardware / Software troubleshooting experience · Prior helpdesk experience · Siebel CRM Knowledge
