Software Developer IV

Duties: Design and develop system components to be integrated into overall application architecture for custom enterprise systems within UNIX environment; design and develop software and system components for cases developed by business analysts, using knowledge of Java/J2EE (JSP, JNDI, JDBC, JMS and Web Services) architecting and design; lead design, development and test reviews; document and test unit components using key Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, Struts) and SQL/Oracle database modeling and querying design tools; manage source code utilizing Web 2.0 approaches (AJAX) and supporting technologies; and enforce all appropriate development standards; and identify, evaluate and resolve defects using incremental development scheduling and staging strategies.

Job Requirements Requirements: B.S. in comp sci, engineering or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and 6 yrs software development experience, including 4 yrs developing high-volume Java/J2EE business applications. Also requires exp. in: Java/J2EE development (JSP, JNDI, JDBC, JMS, Web Services); Frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, Struts); J2EE architecture/design; Web 2.0 (AJAX); domain experience; SQL and Oracle database modeling and querying; and team lead/project management.
