Software Developer III

Job Description Duties: Conduct feasibility studies, requirements analysis, architecting, design, development, coding and arrangement of next generation web-based high performance scalable telecommunications service subscription, provisioning and billing systems; develop and implement platforms for developing voice applications using C/C++ and Java/J2EE technologies (Servlets, SIP JSR, EJBs, Spring, hessian, Drools rules Engine, Mockrunner, xstream, jboss, resin, weblogic), Python, and Ruby programming languages and MySQL, Oracle and Postgre SQL relational database modeling and management systems; estimate software development tasks to within predictable variances given specified functional and business requirements; mentor junior software developers;

Job Requirements Requirements: B.Sc. in Computer Science or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) as well as 5 years software development experience using Java/C++ or, alternatively, a M.Sc. degree and 2 years experience as noted above. Also requires experience with: telecommunications billing and provisioning systems; SQL, data-modeling, DML in UNIX/Linux operating systems; J-unit testing in Java environment; full software development life-cycle methodologies, data structures and algorithms; and knowledge of TCP, IP and UDP telecommunications networking protocols; Java, C, C++, Ruby and Python scripting languages; and J2EE technologies (Servlets, SIP JSR, EJBs, Spring, hessian, Drools rules Engine, Mockrunner, xstream, jboss, resin, weblogic).
