Senior Software Engineer

Qualifications: Requirements: - Technical - Must have - More than 3 years of Java experience - More than 9 years of development experience - Experience with multithreading applications. - Some DB (SQL) development experience (indices, foreign keys etc, )

- Technical - Nice to have: - Application server development experience (J2EE, EJB3) - Experience with JDBC - Networking development experience, specially in network management - Good oral and written communication skills are essential. - Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and demonstrate strong influencing and leadership skills. - Experience in application design and development methodologies, software development protocols, and client-server architectures. - Strong aptitude for learning new technologies. - Strong understanding of concepts related to computer architecture, data structures and standard programming practices. - Experience using a Version control system - Ability to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation. - Uses judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for successful results. - Ability to perform work estimates & ensure timely delivery of excellent quality well documented work artifacts.

Responsibility and Interaction: - Responsibility: - The tasks this individual is responsible for are often unstructured and the issues addressed are less defined requiring new perspectives and creative approaches. - This individual will apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving problems that are complex in scope requiring in-depth evaluation. - Demonstrate good judgment in solving problems as well as identifying problems in advance, and proposing solutions.

Education & Experience: - A Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, a Master Degree, or a PhD; or equivalent experience is required.- A minimum of 3 years of Java programming experience is required. 9+ years of experience is preferred. - Working experience in large projects for at least 2 consecutive years.- Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, moderately complex technical tasks.
