Sr. Software Engineer

§ End-user web applications for communication program definition, execution, and maintenance.

§ End-user Java applet applications.

§ Java applications including data importation, results exporting, workflow engine, communication scheduling and execution.

§ SQL Server database code including stored procedure development, triggers, and table/index definitions.

§ CCXML/VXML code for automated voice dialog execution.

The ability to work independently, seek out the appropriate resources when necessary, and problem solve are critical to success in this position.

Candidate Profile:

§ Strong GUI development skills with experience in designing and implementing web applications using server-side scripting engine (e.g. ColdFusion, ASP, JSP, ) to interact with back-end relational database.

§ Strong Java application design and development experience. Experience in designing and testing multi-threaded applications that interact with highly transactional SQL Server databases is required.

§ Strong SQL development skills including SQL development, transaction management, error handling, and batch processing.

§ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

§ Can work with minimum supervision and multi-task on a wide variety of functionality, issues, and projects.

§ Must be high quality oriented through use of Agile SDLC and engineering discipline.

Required Technical Skills/Background/Experience:

§ Minimum of six years hands-on relevant work experience.

§ Experience with source code management tools (e.g. Eclipse/CVS, Visual SourceSafe, SCCS).

§ Experience with database schema modeling tools (e.g. Visio, ERWin)

§ Programming experience in one or more 4gl languages (e.g. C++, Java).

§ Programming experience in transact SQL languages.

§ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
