Engineering Software Project Leader

a Engineering Software Project Leader responsible for leading a development team responsible for legacy and new product development . Project/team leadership responsibilities include: Coordinate and lead a development team through systems, software, and firmware development. Coordinate the activates of all project resources, Oversee the refinement of engineering processes. Plan development project task lists, resource needs, schedules, and estimates. Monitor weekly project progress, update plans to incorporate changes, provide status and metrics. Strong organization, communication, presentation, and technical writing skills necessary.

Job Qualifications/Educational Requirements Qualified candidates will have a BSEE or BSCE with a minimum of 10 years experience in the following areas: •Leading an aerospace software development team from proposal through product launch, •Secondary flight controls or hydraulic system controls design, •Safety critical system development, •Embedded control software design and verification, •Fault tree analysis, preferred, •Electrical hardware design, preferred, •Functional hazard assessment, preferred, •DOORS, preferred, •MatLab/Simulink, preferred.
