Analyst - IT

A. Leads IT initiatives and participates on projects as directed by Management. B. Coordinates local desk-side support at the location and possibly other sites within Zone. C. Coordinates, schedules, tests, implements and documents application upgrades or patches in order to remain on current levels of software utilized in the supported sites. D. Gathers information needed to support IT business metrics. E. Provides guidance and/or escalated support and problem resolution to more complex issues. F. Maintains control of Windows/Intel software and hardware in order to ensure license compliancy and asset management. G. Implement software and hardware upgrades to support IT initiatives and comply with established standards. H. Seek out opportunities to increase end-user operational efficiency. I. Maintain infrastructure in order to decrease downtime and maintain quality. J. Provides application support to site specific applications K. Stay current with industry trends in Information Technology advancements Job Qualifications/Educational Requirements Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Operating Systems, Familiarity with manufacturing applications where applicable, some light programming (DOS scripting, VB, Access), networking, basic telephony.

A Bachelors degree with one to three years experience preferred

One to three years practical experience configuring, installing and supporting PC hardware.

Analytical, systematic approach to problem recognition and resolution required.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
