JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) Schema is a standard on how to define the structure of a JSON text string.

JSON Schema allows you to:

Describe the structure of your JSON text strings.
Provide clear, human- and machine-readable documentation about your JSON text strings.
Allow others who uses your JSON text strings to perform validations, useful for automated testing and data validation.

Currently, JSON Schema specification is divided into 3 parts:

JSON Schema Core - Defines the basic foundation of JSON Schema
JSON Schema Validation - Defines the validation keywords of JSON Schema
JSON Hyper-Schema - Defines the hyper-media keywords of JSON Schema
